3 month Accutane update:
Most of my acne is basically gone now
I rarely get new breakouts anymore, and my cystic acne disappeared after about 1 month on the treatment.
What I’m mainly dealing with now is leftover marks and scarring from old acne, so my skin isn’t fully “clear” yet — but it’s definitely getting better.
Side effects I’ve experienced:
• Very dry lips and face (expected)
• Dry skin on my arms
• Dryness inside my nose
• Dry eyes
Kinda suprised how much it has helped in the last month.
Overall the treatment has actually been easier than I expected so far.
Excited to see how things look around month 5–6
(Before of my cheek) And After. Here u can see my cysts are gone but still have some scars.
Also my other cheek is completely Clear.
PS: If you are dealing with acne... NEVER pick it. I got scars but im lucky mine arent so bad that they stay,buuuut for some people it never heals 100% and that looks shit.
