If your lifts aren’t slowly improving over time, your body has no reason to change. Progressive overload doesn’t mean adding weight every session; it means some measurable improvement over weeks. You can add reps, add sets, improve form, shorten rest time, or add a small amount of weight. The point is to give your muscles a reason to adapt without breaking yourself. What lift are you tracking most seriously right now?
