The #1 Stock Mistake: Confusing a Good Company With a Good Price

A company can be amazing… and still be a bad investment if you overpay.

Things that matter:
  • valuation (P/E, free cash flow, growth expectations)
  • how much perfection is already priced in
  • whether earnings can realistically keep up
Most losses come from buying hype at peak optimism.
Question: Have you ever bought a “great company” and still lost money? What did you ignore—valuation, timing, or patience?
